Most problems are one of four things, and they are all below. If yours is not, the Discord is the fastest way to reach someone.

Ask a question and get an answer from other people using Smile, or from the person who makes it.
Feature requests
Post an idea, or vote on one that is already there. This is where the roadmap actually comes from.

The four things that go wrong
My shortcut opens the Shortcuts app first, then the real app.
That is the old way of launching, and it means the automation is not set up or is not set to run immediately. Work through the seamless launching guide, and pay particular attention to the "Run Immediately" step.
Nothing happens when I tap a shortcut.
Smile matches on the shortcut’s name, exactly, including capitals, spaces and emoji. Open the Shortcuts app, read the name at the top of the shortcut, and retype it in Smile character for character.
The app I want is not in the list.
The built-in list only covers apps that publish a URL scheme. For anything else, make a Shortcut that opens it and add that to Smile instead. It works for every app on your phone.
An app vanished from my widget.
If you gave it a hard limit with "hide until next day" turned on, it disappears from the widget once you hit the limit and comes back at your reset time. Open Smile to see the app and its count.
